Middle School Principal's Message
To achieve this we have teachers who provide an environment that is safe, inviting and supportive. Students and teachers engage in active learning. Teachers use a curriculum that is relevant, integrative, challenging and exploratory. Both teachers and students engage in active learning. The three years that our students are in middle school is a time for them to enjoy not only their classroom life but the social events and extra curricular activities that help our students become well rounded young adults. Welcome to the middle school of AIS. Middle school is made up of the grades 6, 7 and 8. Middle school is a unique time for students as they are going through many changes socially, physically and academically. Our philosophy is to teach to the whole child and not just the academics. While we do realize academic success is very important, here at AIS we want to help students develop as well rounded citizens.
